Fenced dog yard and game room near downtown

Location location location. Not even 5 minutes from downtown dining and shops. Clean pet friendly property. Our dog loved the fenced in yard. The game room and darts in the garage were fun.

- Sara N. , Posted: 10/17/2026

Very nice house. Clean and only a little more than a mile to downtown.

- Dominic G. , Posted: 10/15/2026

This house was perfect for a getaway trip with my husband and our toy poodle. Everything was very clean and comfortable and had all the features and amenities we needed. The neighborhood was quiet but still very convenient to downtown. For awareness, if you or your pet has any mobility issues, there is a decent size step that separates the living room and dining room area. Not a negative at all, but we did have to give our senior dog some help up and down the step. We definitely enjoyed our visit and would stay here again!

This 2 bedroom house was a perfect place to stay for our weekend trip to Lake Geneva! Very close to the lake and the down town area, it was very comfortable and spacious and had all the things we needed for the weekend! The fully fenced in back yard was wonderful as we brought our dog for this weekend trip! We felt right at home here, would highly recommend this house for anyone who is coming to lake Geneva!

Beautiful place, easy check in, place was super clean, big back yard, really close to downtown Lake Geneva, Nick was great at communicating and replying right away. My dogs really enjoyed the back yard. We recommend.

- Anonymous , Posted: 6/11/2026

Thanks, Oscar! Happy to hear check-in was easy and that your dogs made the most of the backyard. We would love to have you and the pups back.

- Vacation Rental Property Partners staff, Posted: 10/22/2026

I was a perfect place. It felt home. It was very comfortable. And the location was great.

- Daniel G. , Posted: 5/23/2026

First, the actual Airbnb was very nice, clean and as pictured. Nice fenced backyard for the pups. My only issue was communication with Nick. I had booked the Airbnb for a week; however, the first day I had a death in the family and had to leave. I was there only 12 hours. And while I understand any refund would not be required per the contract, I asked Nick three separate times if he would consider any amount. He claimed that he had no control but would ask the owners. Unfortunately, Nick didn’t respond. I asked him 3 separate times if the owners had gotten back to him and he said not yet. I definitely didn’t expect a refund but at least communication on the owners response. His failure to respond leads me to believe that he never actually asked the owners.

Great fault and pet friendly place. We are a family of 4 with a medium sized dog- it was perfect! Clean, exactly like photos- and the fenced in yard was really great. Close to Lake Geneva, main shopping area and supper close to the Tristan Magic show. Highly recommend

- Anonymous , Posted: 4/24/2026

Sangeetha, thank you! A family of four plus a medium-sized dog is exactly who we had in mind for this home. Glad the fenced yard was a hit and that the magic show was close by.

Loved the fenced-in back yard

- Kathy D. , Posted: 9/19/2025

Great place and location with good communication/smooth check in. Only issue was area was not quite as accessible as the listing portrayed. No sidewalks out to main road and no sidewalks on the main road into town for a few blocks (we had our children and dog with us which made it more of an issue than normal). Otherwise, it was a great stay!

- Anonymous , Posted: 9/10/2025

Thank you, Nate, and thanks for the useful note about walking. You are right that there are no sidewalks out to the main road or for the first few blocks toward town, and our listing now says to bring a car and gives drive times instead. We appreciate you sharing it, and we are glad the rest of the stay was great.

- Vacation Rental Property Partners staff, Posted: 10/22/2026

Very comfortable and close to everything without being in the middle of town.

- Anonymous , Posted: 9/5/2025

Ruben, that is exactly what we love about this spot too: close to everything, without the noise of downtown. Thank you for staying with us.

Short drive to the lake!

- Bobby O. , Posted: 8/24/2025

I’m not sure you could do much better being just a single mile from downtown Lake Geneva. Everything about the Blissful Barry House was comforting and cozy. Perfect for our family of four and dog—who misses the back yard already!

- Anonymous , Posted: 8/19/2025

Matt, thank you! We love that the Blissful Barry House felt cozy for your family of four, and please tell your dog the backyard misses them too. Come back soon.

- Vacation Rental Property Partners staff, Posted: 10/22/2026

Highly recommend! We were already looking at Nick’s other listing for our next get away. The home is very accommodating especially to a family vacationing with dogs. The house was very clean and up to date. The location was quiet and relaxing with a very short drive to the excitement of downtown Lake Geneva. Would definitely stay again.

- Anonymous , Posted: 8/5/2025

Tiffany, thank you so much! It means a lot that you are already planning the next getaway with us. Glad the house worked so well for your family and your dogs.

- Vacation Rental Property Partners staff, Posted: 10/22/2026

Great place to stay! The house was clean and had everything we needed to grill out and cook in the kitchen. It had some added touches of coffee and different tea options. The rooms were spacious and we had lots of fun and laughter playing the games that were provided. It was situated with takeaways and a Walmart around the area. I messaged Nick the owner regarding a question I had and he responded almost immediately. I would recommend this property for a quiet stay but everything a short distance away!!

- Anonymous , Posted: 7/16/2025

Zoe, thank you for such a thoughtful review! We are so glad the grill, the kitchen, the coffee and tea, and the games all got good use. Thanks for the quick message too. That is what we are here for. Come back any time.

Excellent property, incredibly clean, great amenities. Everything about this property met and exceeded our expectations. The location is great, just outside of downtown only minutes away via car to anything you could need (grocery, downtown, shopping, etc). The property was exactly as described and worked perfectly for our family. This will certainly be our next stay in lake geneva.

Nick's place had everything he pictured on website, very quiet neighborhood, close by to businesses, and accommodating to what we needed. Our dog loved the huge yard. From arrival we had some issues, couldn't get inside, furnace not working fast enough (coldest day this year) and electricity went out but Nick provided immediate responses and resolutions. We'd be interested in revisiting in the summer time, hopefully with no obstacles.

Safe travels, and we look forward to hosting you again!

In the chaos of moving, along with two dogs, it’s vital that one has a comfortable retreat at the end of the day plus that the furry companions are safe and have a handy outlet to avoid stressing them out more than necessary. This lovely retreat fully answered that need. It was exactly as advertised, immaculate, incredible customer care, very critter friendly and the perfectly fenced in, large yard gave the dogs a perfect way to run their batteries down. The neighborhood was very quiet and one had no idea they were within a couple of blocks from stores, restaurants of great variety, pharmacy’s, main traffic routes, etc. I do wish to stress the warm welcome and communication this getaway presented. Arriving after dark, the lights were already turned on, there was two dog dishes set out so the dogs could have immediate access to water, pet treats in a jar on the counter, even a comfortable dog bed in the living room. While presenting a warm (it was 17 degrees outside and the heat was already turned up to a much needed warmer temperature), inviting inclusion to their home, it was great the beds were perfect, more towels than we could use, and soft throw blankets were much appreciated. When, as usually happens in a move, things got away from us and we needed an extra day added to our stay, it was effortless to have that taken care of. I highly recommended this lovely cottage if your needs are to come home at the end of an exhausting day and relax.

Our Sofia, was so entertained by all of the wildlife in the back yard. There were plenty spots for her to explore and sniff.
