Built in 1924 and kept in the same family for three generations, this lakefront home pairs vintage character with direct water access. Two bedrooms, two full baths, and open living spaces with lake views through large picture windows.

Overall, we had a good stay and the location was definitely the highlight. It’s within walking distance of the Watershed and South Shore Bar, making it easy to enjoy the area without having to drive. Downtown Delavan and other local spots are less than a 10 min drive. The dock was also great for fishing and spending time on the lake.The kitchen is well-equipped and works well if you plan on cooking meals during our stay. Beyond that, though, the house is pretty basic. There are very few amenities inside or outside the home (including chairs/seating), and not much to keep kids entertained if you’re planning to spend a lot of time at the property. We purchased/brought our own fishing poles, inner tubes, lilly pad, and fire pit. If you’re looking for a very simple place to stay in a good location and plan to be out exploring the lake and surrounding area, this property fits the bill. If you’re expecting a lot of extras or resort-style amenities, you may want to adjust your expectations.
