Lakefront 4 Bedroom Retreat with Hot Tub

Nick’s home was an amazing place to stay. Beautiful setting on Lake Wandawega in a quiet neighborhood. The house was extremely well appointed and had really nicely designed interior decor. The hosts were super helpful and made us feel very welcome. We’re planning to stay there again next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend!

Our stay was fantastic! The host was proactive in communicating with us and very responsive throughout our stay. All of the bedrooms were extremely comfortable and everything was very clean (I am a stickler for cleanliness!). My kids absolutely loved all of the activities in the little nook upstairs and had a blast hanging in the window seat in one of the bedrooms. The hot tub was also lovely. The property is very well maintained and we will definitely be back to stay again! The only feedback I could possibly give is that it wasn’t clear when booking, that the porch area with the hanging chairs and fireplace is not usable in the winter (it’s a screened in porch). Overall, this did not impact our stay significantly and we would highly recommend this place to anyone considering it!

Beautiful home on a beautiful setting. All the features of this home are high end and in working order. Only complaint would be the dining table is in the screened in porch that is not usable in the winter. Otherwise everything was great! We loved the hot tub, super relaxing and enjoyable! Amazing hosts were very good about responding immediately to any requests. Nick even had k-cup coffee delivered because I expressed concern we may not have enough. Thanks again for hosting us, it’s a beautiful home!

We really loved our after Christmas stay at this lake house! Upon arrival, the living room fireplace wouldn’t turn on. I messaged Nick and they were very responsive and came out to try to get it on. Needed service and couldn’t get it fixed during our stay. One of the reasons we booked this house was to hang out by the fireplace every day so that was a big disappointment. The kitchen was very well equipped with the exception of wine glasses. There were none. As a wine drinker, I couldn’t find any really acceptable glasses except for a small, Ikea juice glass. The rest were mason type jars and mugs, a rocks glass here and there. Other than those two things, the hot tub was nice, the view was amazing, the beds were comfortable and the whole place was immaculate! The kids had fun playing games! We did light the fireplace one evening in the hot tub/pool house, as there was plenty of wood provided. Temps got too low and snowed in there after that evening so we couldn’t use it more.

This is absolutely a repeatable retreat for us! Nick was a phenomenal and thoughtful host, and quickly and friendly responsive to any questions we had. This stay was a restorative one for us as we needed a place of peace immediately following a personal tragedy. We arrived not only to a beautiful home but to a kind card, flowers, and sweet treats to ensure our comfort. We absolutely so highly recommend this property and any others where Nick is the host. The house and property are beautiful! We had everything we needed and wanted for a relaxing weekend. The place is as described and the neighborhood is walkable and friendly. We were very impressed with the interior design of the house and the quiet surroundings. Note: there are parking spots for 4 vehicles in the driveway. Nick was very helpful when we arrived and realized we had too many vehicles to fit in the driveway. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our extended weekend trip!

We had an awesome stay! It was the perfect place for a long weekend for 3 couples….the house was very funky, artsy and tastefully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. The setting is beautiful but close to civilization if you need anything from the store or want to check out Lake Geneva. All the lily pads deterred some members of our party from getting in the water, but if you went off the swimming dock, the water was cleared out and you wouldn’t touch any vegetation….water is crystal clear! Favorite part was the screened in room with a massive stone fireplace and hanging egg chairs! We ate all our dinners at the massive table and spent the evenings hanging out by the fireplace! Nick was super responsive to any concerns we had!

The house is even better than the photos. Really well done. Separate screened in porch with fireplace was an unexpected treat. We spent every meal there. The hot tub and view were lovely. The lake is very quiet as are the surrounding neighbors. Very tranquil setting. The only thing to be weary of is the lake itself. It is quite shallow, which makes it warm, but it is full of lily pads. Hence it is OK for boating, but not great for swimming.

A gem of a rental! Stunning property that felt like a true getaway. Cozy, beautifully decorated rooms, super comfortable beds, a perfect kitchen for cooking family meals, fun artwork everywhere, an awesome kids craft area upstairs (heaven!) - this place has everything. The external dining area was beautiful and perfect for family dinners. The lake was quiet and calm, the deck a perfect place to read and have a cup of coffee. The water was pretty covered in lilly pads but it didn’t stop us from swimming! Nick was quick to respond to questions and kind. Sunsets, card games, paddle boarding, a family movie night-stop scrolling and book, this place was magic and we can’t wait to go back.

Everything was as expected — a beautiful home with all the amenities you could ask for. The lake was lovely and great for fishing, the furniture was comfortable and clean, and the sunsets were absolutely gorgeous!

We came here with my family for 4th of July 2025 weekend. The home is really beautiful &unique. Inside of the house was also very clean - which I really value in an Airbnb home as that’s unfortunately not always the case. The kitchen has top tier appliances. Laundry is there for use as well. They also provided Starbucks coffee, which was really nice. Overall, we had an amazing stay and I’d gladly come back. If I had to knit pick on anything it would be about the stand-alone sunroom place & the outside seating area, I don’t think that gets cleaned as much as there’s quite a few spider webs inside the sunroom and on the benches outside. Also, I think the water lilies need a little bit of cleaning as they make it a little more difficult to take a swim in the lake - especially with kids. Overall, I’d give it a 4.5 and I want to thank the hosts for being so responsive! They truly have a great response time and have a lot of amenities available for use! Great Airbnb and amazing hosts ❤️

Beautiful home with a wonderful lake. Had an extremely functional kitchen with top of the line appliances. Picturesque and peaceful. It was a very enjoyable stay for our family of 5. The facilities and the cleanliness were fantastic and the cottage location was ideal. It's a great place to find peace by the lake and to enjoy the scenic views for a short stay. Highly recommended.

had such a lovely time at this lake house celebrating my Dad's 70th Birthday. The location and layout were perfect, and the decor was so fun and homey. The kids area worked out perfectly and we created so many fond memories between the cookouts, late nights hanging in the screened in porch, and swimming and canoeing all over the lake. Nick was also a very attentive host, always providing a quick reply to any questions we had. Would highly recommend and looking forward to booking again in the future!
